In 2005, Mike Shinoda released a track on the DJ Green Lantern Presents Fort Minor: We Major mix tape, titled "S.C.O.M.", which uses samples from the Guns N Roses song, "Sweet Child O' Mine".

The songs, "One in a Million" and "Used to Love Her" remain the most controversial to date.  Axl sang "Free Falling" with Tom Petty, "I Will Not Go Quietly" with Don Henley, and "I Did You No Wrong" with Steve Jones.  Ice T recorded a re-mix of "Welcome to the Jungle".  During the Get In the Ring Tour, Axl sang, "Ice, Ice baby, fuck off!" before performing Welcome to the Jungle.  Apparently he wasn't pleased with Ice T's recording.  The song "Civil War" appeared on the compilation album, Nobody's Child.
